Long Beach based producer, Scott Allen, and Soul Deep Exclusives, are proud to present the stand out track, “So Blue”. The track takes the listener on a journey into a virtual Blues Bar, dripping with lush vibes and soul. The original version has been in heavy rotation by LTJ Bukem, most recently being featured on his live mix recorded in Detroit. The Original version of “So Blue” begins with a high passed Amen break, heavy piano
chords, reverse efx, trumpets, and a blues style female vocal. When the drop hits, the bassline pushes the song to the next level, as the background elements fill up the rest of the soundscape. Paul SG, the Vienna based producer extraordinaire, takes over on the remix duties. Paul creates a lush atmosphere in the intro, featuring ticking hats, soulful chord stabs, echoing efx, and a high passed drum loop that leads to the drop. When the drop hits, the vocal is introduced to the mix, while the punchy bassline rolls along underneath the groove. Essential!!
