The We Are Living EP is another example of why Furney is one of the most treasured producers in the Liquid D&B scene. “We Are Living”, kicks things off in impressive fashion, with it’s epic vocal, acoustic guitar plucking, trippy efx, Amen Drums, and driving bassline. This one’s a classic!! “Elmalougalou”, takes over next, where Furney is able to create a much funkier, dance floor vibe. This is an older Furney tune, but as you can tell, his music definitely stands the test of time. The song chugs along with its chunky, syncopated breaks, bouncing bassline, acoustic guitar, and epic horn samp les. Another Classic from Furney! “Rolling Down Time” takes a bit deeper, rolling approach to things. The mood is created by trippy pads, echoing vocals and efx, punchy drums, a booming bassline, and a ripping mid bassline. Soothing vocals drift over the top of the chaos and help put you in a trance. Deep! The final track of the EP, “Blue”, wraps things up with its impressive Amen Drums, Jazzy horn blasts, deep pads, and haunting vocals.
